Privacy

Plainly, this is what Three Openings does with what you write, and what it never does.

Your sittings are private

Your intentions and reflections are private by default and forever unless you deliberately offer a reflection for the public page and an editor publishes it. Even then, only the reflection you offered is public — never your question unless you asked to share it. No admin, and no automated system, can read unoffered sittings: the admin panel shows offers only, and there is no code path that opens a private journal. You can delete any sitting, and you can delete your whole account.

What we collect

An email address (for sign-in links and, if you choose, one notice when a reflection is published), a first name you may add for the byline, and the sittings themselves. No passwords are stored, because there are none. No advertising, no tracking pixels, and no third-party analytics that follow you around.

The moderation check

When you offer a reflection, a small language model reviews the text of the reflection and the passages it came from to sort spam and abuse out of the editors' queue. The check receives the reflection text and citations only — never your name or email — and no one's words are ever published or deleted by it. A person makes those calls.

What we never do

We do not sell or share your data. We do not show you counts to perform for — no view counts, no like counts, nothing graded. Guest "Amen"s are stored as hashed, meaningless keys, not as a map of who you are. Export is always available; deletion is honored within thirty days, and published work is removed, not anonymized and kept, unless you ask us to leave it signed Anonymous.
